LumaSpec 800是一款小巧的可見光光強度計，專為為顯微鏡與光學照明系統所設計，提供額外的定量光譜功率數據。照明標靶(Illumination Target )是使用3“x 1”載玻片的型式，可準確的測試顯微鏡光源落在樣品平面上的光照強度，這是非常重要的顯微鏡螢光光源管理方式。此外，光譜量測範圍從350nm到800nm，可提供定量光譜和圖形化資訊，光學解析度為1.5nm，為量化顯微鏡光源系統提供一個快速簡便的測試工具。 除了提供光譜輸出的詳細資訊之外，光譜測量軟體還提供了一種簡單的方法來保存光譜數據並可將兩組光譜數據重疊用於進行光譜強度的差異變化比較。時間戳記(Time Stamped)的數據可以每隔100 ms保存一次，以進一步測試和量化顯微鏡光源的發光穩定性。
